Department of General Administration and Military Sciences is the first program in Palestine that combines military science and general administration. Al-Istiqlal University is unique in this specialization. It is characterized by a great deal of efficiency in meeting the needs and requirements of the Palestinian security services in the various directorates on the field and administrative side. It contributes effectively in preparing and qualifying the security cadre.

A leading, distinguished, and modern department in military and administrative education and training. Contributing in developing security systems at the local and regional level within the highest standards of quality and excellence.


Mission:-

The department seeks to contribute in developing the capabilities of the security and military establishment through its military academic program, following up the scientific and technological developments, and graduating qualified cadres scientifically and militarily according to the criteria of its comprehensive goals and within the vision and mission of IU.

Objectives:-

- Providing the official bodies and the security establishment with specialized cadres in military and administrative sciences.

- Linking the plans and programs of study with the requirements and needs of the Palestinian security services and State of Palestine.

- Deepening the links between the faculty and non/governmental institutions and setting the university in serving the community.

- Meeting the needs of the security establishment and related parties with graduates who are characterized by the responsibility of citizenship and affiliation to homeland and people as well as the highest degree of discipline and commitment.

- Encouraging scientific research in all fields in order to develop and serve the community.

- Teaching students the concept of citizenship and affiliation.

- Developing a strategy for problem solving and action, and benefiting from what is available in the surrounding environment in the administrative and military sciences.
